Unisa has opted to adopt a non-venue-based exam option as a means to adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In relation to the exams, there have been changes.

Students are urged to check their timetables on myUnisa for possible changes regarding their examination dates and sessions.

The University apologises for the inconvenience this may have caused the students.

This university gave the following explanation:

The supplementary timetable was prematurely published without the full cohort of supplementing students. Consequently, a significant number of students have been added to the January/February/March 2022 examination subsequent to the publication of the current published timetable. Regrettably, most supplementary students’ timetables may reflect different dates and session times.

Unisa is amongst many institutions that have training programs and webinars with the aim to equip its students.

The university will be conducting a student webinar training in the form of Student Blast Sessions, to answer questions around the newly used Invigilator App.

Students will simply join one of the student training groups, a facilitator will then demonstrate the Invigilator App, and guide students on downloading, registering, and conducting the demo test.

Invigilator App ensures that your assessment is authentic, valid, and can be justified for those subjects that require further approval from professional bodies.

This will come in handy as the Unisa online exams will run from 17 January 2022 till 4 March 2022.
