R350 Grant Payment Schedule At Post Offices Released
The South African Post Office has announced that this week is only reserved for the payment of other SASSA grants except for the R350 SRD grant.
The South African Post Office has urged R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant beneficiaries to be aware that their grant payments will only start being processed from Monday 11 October 2021.
Starting on 11 October, the 350 SRD grant payment days are scheduled as follows.
- Monday: 084 & 089
- Tuesday: 080 & 085
- Wednesday: 081 & 086
- Thursday: 082 & 087
- Friday: 083 & 088
SASSA does not process the R350 SRD Grant on days that other SASSA grants are paid.
This week was set aside for grant payments that include old age recipients, disability and child grants. The payment dates for the above-mentioned grants are:
- Older Persons Grant: 5th October 2021
- Disability Grant: 6th October 2021
- Children’s Grant: 7th October 2021
- All other grants: From the 11th of October 2021
SASSA administers grants to vulnerable individuals who depend on it for their livelihood. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Government then introduced the SRD grant which is geared towards unemployed individuals.
The SRD grant sees beneficiaries receive R350 per month and is now in it's second round, which is set to come to an end in March 2022.
