NSFAS has announced that their walk-in centre situated in Wynberg, Cape Town, which provided students assistance with their NSFAS applications and NSFAS funding, has been permanently closed.

The financial aid scheme shared the following on their social media accounts:

Please be advised our walk-in centre situated in Wynberg, Cape Town, will be permanently closed as of Friday, February 25, 2022.

So what's next? Well, NSFAS has said that even though this centre is closing permanently, they will be relocating the office to Cape Town CBD.

This new walk-in centre will open in March this year.

NSFAS advises students to follow their social media accounts and website for updates and should they need assistance, you need to send an email to [email protected]

Should be submitting a NSFAS query using the email mentioned above, be sure to include your 13-digit ID number.

NSFAS concluded their announcement by saying, "we apologise for any inconvenience".

From the period where NSFAS applications for 2022 opened until just last week, students were seen forming long lines hoping to get assistance from NSFAS.

If you've submitted a NSFAS application and you want to know your application results so that you can register, you are advised to log onto your myNSFAS account and check your NSFAS application status on there.

NSFAS has said, "NSFAS portal is continuously updated, students are encouraged to visit the portal daily to check their results".
