Here Are TVET Colleges With Ongoing Vaccination Rollouts

On 23 July 2021 Higher Education Minister officially launched the Covid-19 vaccine rollout programme in the post-schooling education and training sector (PSET). Listed below are some of the colleges that are still forging ahead with their vaccination programs.

These are the TVET Colleges that are currently busy with their vaccination programs:

Gert Sibande College

Gert Sibande College recently launched its vaccination program at its Perdekop Campus on Wednesday. According to a post on its Facebook account, this programme in particular, was targeted at the students aged 18 and above . Students were also advised by Higher Health officials to make use of nearby clinics as an alternative option.

Port Elizabeth TVET College

Port Elizabeth TVET College has also scheduled a vaccination date for its students. Details are available below:

Venue: Russell Road Hall Time: 08:00 – 09:00

REGISTRATION FOR COVID-19 VACCINATION FOR STUDENTS AGE 18 AND OLDER.

2. DIAL: *134*832#

3. VISIT: http://vaccine.enroll.health.gov.za

Students are encouraged to register in advance but registration will also be done on-site. For any assistance with registration prior to the day of vaccination, they can visit the Office– Sickbay at T1.

Students are required to bring an original ID document/ Passport on the day. Information sessions on the importance of vaccination will be held prior to and on the day of vaccination.
