Basic Education Minister To Give Updates Tomorrow

Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga, will be speaking at a media briefing tomorrow morning. She will be giving an update about developments in the basic education sector, as well as discussing Covid-19 restrictions for schools and related sectors under level 1.

The briefing will be taking place on Thursday, 1 October at 9am on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. 

This briefing comes as the country officially moved to Level 1 of lockdown on 21 September.

The Minister is expected to talk about the operating measures put in place for schools as well as Early Childhood Development Centres. 

Minister Motshekga has been visiting many schools to check on the progress that they've been making since the country moved to level 1.
