The May/June matric examination period sees individuals who wrote the National Senior Certificate (NSC) and Senopr Certificate (SC) exam in 2021 or previous years but achieved matric results that they were unhappy about.
This exam period, which kicked off on 9 May, is then their second chance to pass Matric and get the Matric result that they wanted and needed, should they want to study further. Exams will then end on 23 June.
Today, they'll be writing Computer Applications Technology (CAT) at 2PM for three hours.
The Department of Basic Education has revealed that over 290 680 people will rewrite their Matric exams, in 5 236 exam centres nationwide.
If at first you don’t succeed, there is still a second chance. Candidates are advised to locate their exam centres days before they're due to write. Avoid frustration - don't leave this off until the day of the exam.
Following devastating floods, Kwazulu-Natal's Department of Education has said that they are ready to conduct these examinations.
