Exam Preparation Tips for Unisa Students
To ensure success in their exams, Unisa students are encouraged to:
- Start Preparing Early: Begin reviewing course materials and familiarizing themselves with exam formats well in advance.
- Review Exam Rules: Thoroughly understand Unisa's examination rules and regulations to avoid any complications.
Unisa makes use of online proctoring tools to ensure the integrity of its online examinations. These tools require a webcam-enabled device (smartphone, laptop, or desktop) and are mandatory for all students during exams.
Failure to use the designated proctoring tools will result in withheld exam results. Students impacted by this will need to re-register for the affected modules.

Unisa warned that the non-usage of proctoring tools would result in the students’ results being withheld, and the identified students requested to re-register for their modules.
Accessing Your Unisa Exam Timetable
Unisa distributes exam timetables electronically to all registered students. However, students can also access their timetables online by visiting the Unisa website and navigating to the examinations section.
If you cannot locate your timetable online, contact the Unisa Examination Office. For any questions or concerns regarding the examinations, students can contact the Examination Administration Division at [email protected], including their student number in the email.
