Semester 2 applications at the University of South Africa are closing today. This is the last chance for students to apply for admission to study at the university in 2025.

Unisa is an Open Distance e-Learning (ODeL) institution, meaning that students do not attend in-person classes and complete all their studies online. This learning style makes Unisa an ideal choice for many individuals, regardless of their personal circumstances, work commitments, or lifestyle.

Unisa Semester 2 Closing Today

Semester 2 applications opened on 14 April 2025, for a limited number of undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees, and postgraduate diplomas.

The 2025 Unisa Semester 2 applications will close on 9 May 2025, giving prospective students less than 24 hours to submit their semester 2 application.

Applications for admission to limited undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees, and postgraduate diplomas are open from 14 April to 9 May 2025.

To assist with the Semester 2 application process, Unisa has provided applicants detailed 2025 Application Guide, which offers step-by-step instructions and outlines all necessary documentation students need to submit to secure their place at the university.
