Unisa’s ODeL model allows students to study remotely without attending in-person classes, making it a flexible option for those with personal, professional, or lifestyle commitments.

Additionally, the institution conducts many of its examinations online making them more accessible for its students

Unisa 2025 Registration Dates

Registration for Unisa undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees, and postgraduate diplomas is open from 8 January to 21 February 2025 for semester modules and from 8 January to 31 March 2025 for year modules.

Master's and doctoral students can also register between 8 January and 31 March 2025, although some exceptions may apply.

Applications and registrations for Short Learning Programmes are available earlier, running from 10 January to 15 March 2025.
