The 2025 increases to permanent South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) grants have been implemented. Here’s how much Sassa grant payments will be for April 2025.
Sassa distributes over 18 million permanent grant payments, including the Older Persons pension grant, Disability grant, War Veterans grant, Care Dependency grant, Foster Child grant, Child Support grant, Child Support grant Top-Up and Grant-in-aid.
During the annual Budget Speech Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana announced the 2025 Sassa grant increases.
