The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) confirmed the successful payment of allowances to TVET Colleges.

NSFAS provides comprehensive bursaries and student loans to deserving students enrolled in approved courses at TVET colleges. This funding covers tuition and registration fees. Students also receive several allowances for food, accommodation, and learning materials.

The government bursary scheme confirmed allowance payments were made to TVET College students whose registration data was submitted.

We are pleased to announce that NSFAS has successfully made allowance payments to NSFAS-funded students at TVET Colleges today, 14 March 2025.

NSFAS reminded TVET College students that only those who upload their bank details on the myNSFAS platform will receive payments.

"All students whose registration confirmations were sent to NSFAS have received their funds, provided they have uploaded their banking details."

While NSFAS processed all payments on Friday, 14 March 2025, the scheme clarified that students may receive their allowances at different times due to their bank.

The time of receiving these funds may differ between students depending on the banking institutions they use.

NSFAS called on students to use their funds responsibly and for their intended purpose. "You are reminded to use the funds responsibly and for the purposes related to learning."
