R370 SRD grant payments are typically made during the final week of each month.
For April 2025, approved beneficiaries will receive their SRD grant payments between 25 April and 30 April.
Payments (for clients approved for the month of April 2025) will be processed from 25–30 April 2025.

How To Check Your SRD Grant Payment Date
To check your SRD grant payment status, visit the Sassa SRD status website. On the site, go to the status check section and enter your ID number and the mobile number used when you submitted your application.
You will receive a One-Time Pin (OTP) for verification. Enter the OTP to securely view your SRD grant application status and your exact payment date.

SRD payments are made at the end of each month, once Sassa has completed its verification process. These checks help ensure that only eligible individuals receive the grant.
Sassa has stated that payments may take 2 to 3 working days to reflect in your bank account after being processed. This means that even if your payment is issued on a specific date, the funds may only become available a few days later.
Beneficiaries can also access their SRD grant payments through various collection points, including ATMs and retail outlets like Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite, and Boxer.
Sassa has advised that there is no need to rush to withdraw your funds on the first day they are available—once paid, the money will remain in your account until you are ready to collect it.
