The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) is now paying all children's grants for July 2024. This includes the Child Support Grant (CSG), Child Support Grant Top-Up and the Foster Care grants.

The CSG Top-up is a financial supplement designed to aid caregivers of orphaned children and the Foster Care grant is intended to financially assist adults who are legally caring for children in foster care.
