Our client, a progressive concrete placing and power floating firm, seeks to appoint 2 experienced, dynamic qualified Concrete New Business Technical Sales Representatives to join their target driven environment. You will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. These positions will suite a results driven person who is hungry for growth and success. Duties will include sales presentations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients in the housing and civil construction sector.
Focus on sales and marketing of concrete services to the construction /civil engineering industry/commercial and domestic clients.
Service and develop existing client base.
Achieve monthly sales targets.
Building and maintaining sound customer relationships.
Daily / weekly / monthly reporting and maintaining sales administration.
Develop strong networks within the industry.
The ideal candidates are required to meet the below listed requirements:
3 – 5 years new business sales experience, selling concrete placing and power floating services to the civil engineering / construction industry is essential
Concrete technology certificate and sales qualifications is preferred
Good mathematical acumen required
Must have a valid driver’s license
Own transport is preferred
Proficient in MS Office, Sage a must
Software specific to the concrete industry will be an advantage
Sound knowledge of ready-mix concrete curing, coring, placement, floating and construction management will secure
Ability to understand quantity and estimating certificates is essential
A deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics thereof is essential
