Our client is a dynamic company, based in Green Point, Cape Town, seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM), ideally working within the FinTech, Payment or Payroll Services Sectors. We’re looking for a smart and motivated contributor to join us in our mission to make money flow more efficiently, through businesses and the economy, on a global scale. This is a new business role where the emphasis is on accelerating and closing out sales. BDM’s receive qualified prospects from the generation team and are responsible for the overall new business sales lifecycle of our prospects.
Our client is a Service Provider in the FinTech space. We’re a diverse bunch of problem-solvers, working together to identify opportunities and develop customer-centric solutions for our clients. Our services include: establishing client relationships, designing and building software, managing and maintaining product systems and functionality, facilitating payments, providing customer support, and other administrative functions. We work along with our clients to give customers more control over their finances by developing traditional and blockchain-based payment systems, tailored to their needs.

•2+ years’ experience with sales within the payments sector (this can be across acquiring, issuing, payment or processing).
•Industry experience in selling payment solutions to iGaming and Online Casinos/ Sports betting and Foreign Exchange Trading are advantageous.
•A strong, proven and consistent track record of performance against targets in solution-based environments. Previous experience in an SME start-up or FinTech environment is advantageous.
•A team-player attitude and the ability to ‘get things done’ without having to rely on authority over other team members.
•Tenacity and discipline to follow up with passion and respect.
