Midlands Community College is a vibrant non-profit educational centre situated in Nottingham Road in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The College was established in 1981 in response to the need to provide quality education to all South Africans. We help very young children, youth and adults to realise their full potential through our two Centres of Excellence:



Capsicum Culinary Studio has six campuses across the country, 6 000 graduates, talented and experienced chef lecturers and is the largest chef school in South Africa. Capscium's qualifications are internationally recognized and the website claims they have a pass rate above 95%.


International Hotel School offers diplomas and higher certificates in a hospitality, food and event management subjects. Studying hospitality is very popular as there are many career options available for graduates, both in South Africa and internationally. International Hotel School is registered and accredited in South Africa but its course are also internationally recognised.


Vega's specialities include communication, brand management, copywriting, digital marketing, photography, graphic design, fashion design, and others. They offer Full-time, Part-time, online, short courses and corporate training.

Vega equips students for future leadership through innovation and prepares students to be industry-ready. When Vega students graduate they slot seamlessly into any industry environment.

Mangosuthu University of Technology offers a variety of departments. Student housing is available near the university. Bursaries and scholarships are awarded to deserving students to help with university costs. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS funding as it provides financial relief to low income households.

 

 


Durban University of Technology offers many different departments as well as short courses. There are libraries at all campuses for students to use for their studies. Writing centres are offered to help students to improve their writing, reading and researching skills. Bursaries and scholarships are awarded to deserving students. The University of Zululand is a comprehensive university offering approximately 252 accredited degrees, diploma and certificate courses across the faculties of Arts; Education; Science and Agriculture as well as Commerce, Administration and Law at the KwaDlangezwa and Richards Bay campuses.


The University of KwaZulu-Natal, also known as UKZN, is a university with five campuses in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It was formed on 1 January 2004 after the merger between the University of Natal and the University of Durban-Westville.


Umgungundlovu TVET College offers a variety of courses, both full-time and part-time programmes. There are five campuses. Assistance is provided to students when applying for finacial aid. Umfolozi TVET College offers a wide variety of courses including distance learning courses. They have nine campuses and six skills centres. Thekwini TVET College offers a variety of courses both full-time and part-time. They have seven campuses, each offering certain courses. Mthashana TVET College aims to bridge the gap of skills shortages through quality teaching and learning, leading to employment and self-sufficiency. They offer a wide variety of courses at their eight campuses. Mthashana TVET College assists their students with applying for NSFAS funding. NSFAS allows many students to attend college who would otherwise not have been able to afford it. 


Mnambithi TVET College aims to be the leading TVET College by providing quality education and training courses. They are made up of six campuses, each offering a variety of courses. Students are provided with support services to help them overcome the hurdles that they may face during their college careers. These support services ensure that they achieve their academic goals and enter into the career of their choice.


Majuba TVET College offers a wide variety of courses as well as leadership programmes at their eight campuses. They care about their students developing holistically therefore student support services such as on-course academic support and sports are provided. Majuba TVET College assists their students with applying for NSFAS funding. NSFAS provides financial relief to low income households. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS.


Esayidi TVET College aims to be the main provider of quality and affordable education. They have six campuses, each offering a variety of courses. Along with offering full-time programmes, they have also introduced part-time programmes through E-Learning. 

 

 


Elangeni TVET College aims to be a self-reliant Further Education and Training College that provides meaningful Education and Training. They offer a variety of courses at their eight campuses. Student support services includes financial assistance, academic support, learnerships and cultural activities. NSFAS provides financial relief to low income households. All students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS funding.
