Learners who did not pass matric or needs to upgrade their subjects results are encouraged to apply for the second chance with the Department of Basic Education.

You have a second chance with the Department of Basic Education

The programme is aimed at giving young people who have failed matric a second chance to obtain their National Senior Certificate or to upgrade their subject results to qualify into a tertiary learning institution for their desired learning field of study.
