Why do students like online learning? There are many advantages of studying online. Online learning involves enrolling in a course on the internet and learning through online work.
Flexibility and accessibility
Students can attend a course at anytime from anywhere. This means that parents can attend to their children and then sit down, working students can attend classes no matter what their work schedule might be, people who are constantly traveling for business or pleasure can attend classes from anywhere in the world. All that is often required is a laptop or pc and an internet connection.
Online learning enables student-centered teaching approaches
Every student has their own way of learning. What works best for some might not work for others. Some students are visual learners, while others learn better by doing course work.
Materials are easily accessible
Study materials are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students have the ability to read and reread literature, discussions, explanations and comments. Often in a classroom or lecture room their are many distractions that prevent you from fully focussing on what is being presented.
