The SABC announced that it would be broadcasting revision lessons for matric learners to access during the lockdown. These revision sessions can be accessed online, on the radio and on television.
SABC Education Virtual Academy (SEVA)
This virtual academy was established by the SABC to offer online academic support to matric learners. Learners can access Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science, Accounting and English (FAL) content on the SEVA website. In addition to this, learners will have access to video lessons, notes and flashcards to help them with the process of self-teaching.

Ukhozi FM radio matric revision lessons
Ukhozi FM originally had one radio slot dedicated to matric revision sessions, but it has now introduced 2 new slots. The radio station has launched these new slots in partnership with the Kwa-Zulu Natal Department of Education.
Matric learners can now access revision content during the following times: 09h00-09h30, 15h00-15h30 and 21h00 - 22h00. The Department of Basic Education is in talks to get radio stations in other parts of South Africa on board with this initiative.
STEM Lockdown Digital School
The STEM Lockdown Digital School is an initiative established by Africa Teen Geeks, in conjunction with the Sasol Foundation and the Department of Basic Education. The Digital School will be providing online lessons exclusive to matric students during the lockdown period.
All matric students have access to the website at no cost, and the content that is taught will be available on the Africa Teen Geeks website and on the Department of Basic Education website. The first week of lessons will focus primarily on STEM subjects, mainly relating to Science, mathematics and languages.
