How To Apply For SASSA R350 Grant

There's one month left for applications to be sent in to benefit from the SASSA Special Relief of Distress grant, better known as the R350 grant. Beneficiaries of this grant receive R350 per month.

This is the last month that applications for the Special Relief of Distress Grant (SRD) which sees beneficiaries get R350 every month will be open.

The President declared a National State of Disaster as a result of the Covid-19 global pandemic. In this regard he introduced a special Covid 19 Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD) of R350 per month to be paid to individuals who are currently unemployed, do not receive any form of income, social grant or UIF payment etc.

How To Apply For The R350 Grant

You can apply in many different ways:

Applicants will need to provide the following information

  • Identity Number or Department of Home Affairs Refugee permit number
  • Name and Surname as captured in the Identity Document
  • Gender and Disability
  • Contact details - Cell phone number
  • Residential Address
