The University of Witwatersrand, better known as Wits, has opened up their online registration for returning undergraduate and some postgraduate students. Reead further for all important pre-registration and registration information for 2021 along with the necessary documentation information for registration.
Online Registration for returning undergraduate students will take place between 5 January and 26 February, depending on your Faculty and programme of study (Health Sciences opens from 22 December 2020). The first teaching block will commence 8 March 2021.
Online Registration for postgraduate students will take place between 5 January and 19 February, depending on your Faculty and programme of study (Health Sciences opens from 21 December 2020). The first teaching block will 1 March 2021.

Log on to Wits Student Self-Service Portal here.

Click on the Academic Information tile.

Click on Online Registration.

Click on “Next” to proceed with Online Registration.

Verify your personal details. Click on “Register Online” link.

- FIXED CURRICULUM: (1) Select Courses & Slots (2) Click “Validate” (3) Click “Enrol” (4) Accept Terms & Conditions (5) Click “Submit”
- FLEXIBLE CURRICULUM: (1) Click on “Choices” (2) Select “Courses” (3) Click “Add to the Planner” (4) Click “Return” (5) Click “Validate” (6) Click “Enrol” (7) Accept Terms & Conditions (8) Click “Submit”
- You are now registered.
