The University of Johannesburg (UJ) is now taking applications for their Non-Subsidised Whole Programmes in their Department of Transport and Supply Chain Management for the 2025 academic year. If you want to advance your career in logistics, transportation, or road transport management, apply now!
Non-Subsidised Whole Programme means an approved short learning programme or approved whole programme. These programmes receive no state funding. In all other respects, they are the same as funded programmes.
Upon successful completion, they lead to the awarding of a qualification in the case of a whole programme or a UJ certificate in the case of an SLP.
UJ courses available in Department of Transport and Supply Chain Management
- Diploma in Logistics Management
- The qualification will provide the student with a range of fundamental knowledge and competencies in fields such as business communication, information systems and project management.
- Diploma in Transportation Management
- The purpose of this qualification is to provide qualifying students with applied competencies in understanding and interpreting of transportation operational and tactical functions in preparation for a career in any branch of the transport or logistics sector.
- Diploma in Road Transport Management (specialization in passengers or freight)
- This will enable students to critically explain and apply road transport management principles, processes and procedures.
- Transport and Supply Chain Management Bridging
- The purpose of this non-subsidised whole programme is to enable prospective students who possess a Grade 12 certificate without diploma endorsement to proceed to a specific non-subsidised whole Diploma programme studies in Transport and Logistics within the Department of Transport and Supply Chain Management at UJ.
Applications are open for 2025 and will close on 28 February 2025.
