University of Johannesburg
If you wish to become a part of UJ, apply now as 2022 applications are now open. With no application fee, applying is simple at UJ.
They offer a very wide range of course from diplomas to degrees to postgraduate courses. UJ also offers a wide range of online courses. These range from short courses to full certificates, continuing education programmes, degrees and postgraduate courses.
North West University
North West University has opened their applications for 2022 and no application fee is needed. Become more and apply at North West University now! Not only are you receiving an education, but you'll also be receiving a place in the world.
They offer Undergrate studies, Postgrad studies, Distance Learning and Short Courses. NWU has three campuses, namely: Mafikeng Campus, Potchefstroom Campus and the Vaal Triangle Campus.
University of the Free State
The University of the Free State has opened it's 2022 applications so apply now. The University does not need an application fee to be paid to apply.
UFS has nine faculties for prospective students to choose from. Along with these faculties, they also offer Open Distance Learning and Business School. Students can also participate in more than 22 different sport disciplines.
Sol Plaatje University
Sol Plaatje University doesn't need an application fee to apply. The University is yet to open their 2022 applications.
SPU has only one campus located in the Civic Centre in Kimberly. They offer courses in Economic and Management Sciences, Education, Humanities and Natural & Applied Sciences.
Central University of Technology
The Central University of Technology (CUT) will open their applications for 2022 in June but no worries, you won't be asked to pay an application fee.
CUT offers a variety of departments at their campuses. Courses are offered for the following faculties: Engineering,Built Environment and Information Technology, Health and Environmental Sciences, Humanities and Management Sciences.
Nelson Mandela University
Prospective students who wish to study at Nelson Mandela University in 2022 are invited to apply for a certificate, diploma or degree qualification using NMU's online application system.
A bonus? No application fee!
Cape Peninsula University of Technology
The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) does not require an application fee as part of the applying process. CPUT applications usually open in June every year.
CPUT has six campuses: Athlone, Belville, District Six, Granger Bay, Mowbray and Wellington. They offer courses in various faculties such as Applied Sciences, Business and Management Sciences, Education, Engineering and the Built Environment, Health and Wellness Sciences and Informatics and Design.
Walter Sisulu University
Walter Sisulu University (WSU) applications will open in June. WSU accepts online applications only with no application fee.
At WSU, they provide you with affordable, appropriate, career-focused and professional programmes that address rural development and urban renewal with primary emphasis on science, technology and development studies.
University of Limpopo
The University of Limpopo (UL) will open their applications in June and you will not need an application fee to apply. Online application is free and you will need a valid email address and an internet connection.
UL courses fall under the following faculties: Health Sciences , Science & Agriculture, Humanities and Management & Law.
University of the Western Cape
The University of the Western Cape welcomes prospective students to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the 2022 academic year and they don't require an application fee.
Students must apply online via the university's online application portal. Applications opened on 15 May and students are urged to apply as soon as possible.
