Did you know that you can get a list of prescribed books for your modules before you even register? Keep on reading to find how.

The University of South Africa (Unisa) makes use of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) which enables students to pursue their degrees, diplomas and certificates by using online resources and study materials provided by Unisa themself.

By following these steps you can access your textbooks:

  • Click here to visit myUnisa.
  • Tap on "Books" (under "Important Links" on the right-hand side).
  • Select "Prescribed books".
  • Enter your module codes, click on "Display" and your prescribed books for the 2021 academic year will display.

Please note that Unisa does not sell prescribed books apart from Unisa publications. Therefore they are not able to give information about the cost of your prescribed books.

Please contact a Unisa official bookseller to purchase your prescribed books.

Click here for a list of Unisa's official booksellers and their contact information.
