Unfortunately, Unisa has stated that they will not accept any late applications or documents after closing the application date.
However, if you wish to apply for admission to the 2022-2023 academic year, you will have to re-apply during the next application period that is given by Unisa.
The is because Unisa always attends to applicants on a “first-come, first-serve” basis, hence they always encourage prospective applicants to submit their applications well in advance so that their applications reach the university’s authorities in order to be processed on time.
In addition to this, the university has also stated that it can only accept applications for admission for 2021 if there are available spaces in programmes or qualifications that they wish to study.
Furthermore, Unisa recently announced registration dates for all qualification levels in 2022 and they are arranged as follows:
Registration to Undergraduate, honours and postgraduate diplomas dates:
- Semester modules: 5 January – 12 February 2022
- Year modules: 5 January – 11 March 2022
Registration to Master’s & doctoral qualifications dates:
- 5 January – 31 March 2022 (some exceptions apply)
