2022 Registration Now Open At University of Limpopo


The University of Limpopo has officially reopened today which means that students are welcome to register now. Registration dates are available for new, returning undergraduate and postgraduate students. 


As of today, students who would like to enrol at the University of Limpopo may register online. The university has announced that the 2022 registrations will be conducted entirely online. 

Here are the registration details for the following students:

New students

Students may register between 24 and 28 January 2022. Student orientation will begin on 29 January 2022.

Applicants are advised not to visit the university to check their application status or submit their final results. 

The university recommends that students register within the specified registration period as there are a limited number of places available. Once all the places are filled, the registration period will close for that specific programme.

Registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students are reminded that acceptance into a programme does not guarantee enrollment. Students are required to have a matriculation certificate endorsed with a Bachelor’s Degree, as well as the following documents when registering:

  • Registration payment: Standard Bank deposit slip or Bursary proof of payment
  • Original Grade 12 results
  • Certified documents
  • ID
  • Faculty letter of acceptance

International students are required to provide the following documents as well:

  • Study permits from their embassies
  • Medical Cover
  • HESA certificate
  • Both A-level and O-level results

Returning students

Undergraduate students in the Humanities, Health Sciences, Science and Agriculture, and Management and Law faculties are requested to register online. 

Students in these faculties may register on the following dates:

  • Health Sciences: 13 & 14 January 2022
  • Humanities: 17 - 21 January 2022
  • Management & Law: 17 - 21 January 2022
  • Science & Agriculture: 17 - 21 January 2022

Postgraduate students

Students registering for Honours, Master’s and Doctorate qualifications may register on 13 and 14 January 2022.

Late registrations for all students will take place from 31 January to 4 February 2022.
