Colleges You Can Still Apply To For 2022


As the new year kicks off, certain colleges have kept their applications open to allow students the chance to apply before the 2022 academic year begins. While certain colleges have closing dates, the rest do not have strict closing dates.


Furthering one’s studies is the step towards reaching your career goals. By applying to any of these colleges, you are working towards achieving your dreams.

The following TVET college applications are still open:

Flavius Mareka TVET College

The college is located in the Free State and consists of three campuses.  Online applications are currently open and will close on 30 January 2022. The following courses are available:

  • Chemical Process Control: N3 - N6
  • Electrical Engineering: N1 - N6
  • Instrument Engineering: N2 - N6
  • Mechanical Engineering: N1 - N6
  • Boiler Making: N1 - N3
  • Building and Civil Engineering: N3 - N6

Umgungundlovu TVET College 

The TVET College is located in KwaZulu-Natal with five campuses. The Faculty of Business Studies part-time applications are set to open soon. 

Applications for new N4 students will open on 10 January and close on 21 January 2022 for these courses:

  • N4 Financial Management
  • N4 Business Management
  • N4 Human Resource Management
  • N4 Management Assistant
  • N4 Public Management

Fees for 2022 include an administration fee, computer subjects and theory subjects' fees. Students are requested to pay full fees for the semester upon registering.

Returning students may register on 17 January 2022 at the part-time office.

False Bay TVET College offers full-time, part-time and distance learning courses. Due to COVID-19, applications are done online. Students may apply by following these steps:
