Secure Your Spot At AIEs On-Campus Or Virtual Open Day

The Academic Institute of Excellence (AIE) is one of South Africa’s leading learning institutes. Their aim is to provide an innovative approach to accessing high quality education through the use of modern technology. The AIE has two academic branches, one of which is based in Cape Town and the other in Midrand. 

On the 16th of January, both campuses will be hosting their open days for all those interested in starting their studies at AIE in 2021. The open days will take place on their premises or you can join virtually. Anyone joining the virtual presentation needs to ensure that they secure their booking before the open day event. What will be discussed on the open day?

There are 6 different types of qualifications that will be outlined, namely; Draughting an technical design, Engineering and Science, Business, Entrepreneurship and Finance, Information Technology & Data Science, Visual Design & Learn 3D, Architecture. 

Each school of qualification has a designated time-frame that will be explained in thorough detail, for example:

School of draughting and technical design programme layout:

08:50am - 09:00 : Take your seats (visitors onsite) or log onto the virtual classroom platform (online visitors) 
09:00 - 09:30: Presentation on draughting and technical design 
10:00 - 10:30: Q & A session 

What is the process for online attendees?

All qualifications will be discussed for a period of 30 minutes followed by a Q and A session. Anyone joining virtually will be required to click on the link provided to them 10 minutes prior to the indicated start time. The link provided will take you to the page where you will be asked for your name upon joining the session and then you will be added to the virtual classroom.

This programme format will continue for the rest of the qualifications that will be outlined and discussed. 

Once you have access into the various courses from the open day, you can start your career of choice. There will be a final student open day on the 20th of February where this allows students the opportunity to familiarise themselves with their chosen area of study. This will be done via a live stream and registration will be required.
