Transnet Apprenticeships Available
- Plumber
- NQF Level 3: Grade 11 or 12 Maths and Physical Science ((Added Advantage: Engineering Graphics design and Civil Technology) or N2 With Plumbing Theory, Building Science, Mathematics and Building Drawing.
- All subjects to have been passed at 50% or more
- Welder
- NTC2 with 4 relevant trade subjects all passed or •Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 or higher with 7 subjects passed or
- Technical Matric Certificate including Pure Mathematics and Physical Science passed with relevant trade theory passed • All subjects to have been passed at 50% or more.
- Electro Mechanician
- NTC2 with 4 relevant trade subjects all passed or
- Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 or higher with 7 subjects passed or
- Technical Matric Certificate including Pure Mathematics and Physical Science passed with relevant trade theory passed.
- All subjects should be passed with the average of 50% and above
- Fitter
- NTC2 with 4 relevant trade subjects all passed or
- Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 or higher with 7 subjects passed or
- Technical Matric Certificate including Pure Mathematics and Physical Science passed with relevant trade theory passed
- Mechanical Fitter
- NTC2 with 4 relevant trade subjects all passed or
- Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 or higher with 7 subjects passed or
- Technical Matric Certificate including Pure Mathematics and Physical Science passed with relevant trade theory passed \
- All subjects to have been passed at 50% and above
- Electrician
- NTC2 (National Vocational Certificate) with 4 relevant trade subjects all passed or
- Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 or higher with 7 subjects passed or
- Technical Matric Certificate including Pure Mathematics and Physical Science passed with relevant trade theory passed
