The purpose of the Programme is to upskill young unemployed youth to enable them to install electronic equipment into various vehicle types including trucks and plant machinery. Key Outputs: Includes a supervised and structured learning approach that has a combination of theoretical and workplace learning.
Job description
- Perform the installations as per the set standard of quality.
- Complete all relevant documentation associated with the installation.
- Be able to follow a pre-determined installation schedule.
- Provide customer service in accordance with a set standard.
- Be responsible for all fixed assets issued by the company
Minimum requirements
- Candidates should be studying towards a qualification in Electrical Engineering related fields e.g. Autotronics or Auto Electrical or Electrical Engineering N3 (Light Current)
- A Letter from a University/TVET College confirming student requires workplace exposure to complete qualification
- Currently unemployed with no previous formal work experience
- No previous Technical related programme experience
- Willingness to travel for the related coursework
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Dedicated and responsible individuals
- Computer literacy will be advantageous (MS Office)
- Independent thinking
- Logic and reasoning
- Valid driver’s license
NB: Applications should be accompanied by a comprehensive CV, certified copies of qualifications, ID, academic record and driver’s license
The selection process will include interviews as well as assessments to establish the Aptitude and Skills level of the Applicants.
