OWLAF provides tertiary support in the form of funding to supplement the girls scholarships and student loans. Only applications for grade 8 2020 will be accepted.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR GRADE 8 2020 ARE NOW OPEN.

The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls - South Africa admits students of any race, colour, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programmes and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the Academy.

It does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programmes, athletic, cultural, residential and other school- administered programmes.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

All other grades at the Academy have reached their capacity.
If you have not heard from the Academy by 15 March 2019 your application has not been successful.

Students qualify for a scholarship if:

they are academically talented and have
leadership potential
they are a South African Citizen or permanent resident
their family or household total income before deductions is less than R10 000 per month
they are currently in Grade 7
