Minimum requirements, not negotiable:

  1. Individuals must be currently unemployed
  2. South African Citizen
  3. Affirmative Action / Previously disadvantaged Candidates
  4. Must have Minimum theoretical and practical Qualifications below:  

Qualification: Theoretical
Grade 12 with either one or a combination of the following Subjects: Mathematics, Science, Electrical Subjects

The candidate must have passed each subject with a minimum of 40%

Qualification: Practical
3 years proven practical working experience in Electrical Industry

  1. Up to date CV accompanied by a cover letter
  2. Certified copies of theoretical and practical qualifications
  3. Confirmation of employment from previous employers
  4. ID Copy

  1. Applicants should not expect the programme to lead to employment with Landis+Gyr.
  2. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within two week of closing date. Applicants who have not been contacted during this period may regard their applications as unsuccessful.
  3. The closing date for applications: 23 March 2021
  4. Monthly Stipend: R4000.00 until qualification is achieved

The bursaries, which are each valid for a year but can be renewed, are open to South African students across the country with a written acceptance letter from a university to study engineering, supply chain and logistics, IT or finance. Students at technical vocational education and training (TVET) colleges can also apply for bursaries to study a range of disciplines.
