Seta bursaries are available for members of the public who can be either employed or unemployed and wish to study in the 2025 academic year. Full details on what is covered are available now.

Seta bursaries are available now in the INSETA bursary scheme for members of the public who want to study in the 2025 academic year. This is open to both employed and unemployed and those aged between 18 and 35 are encourage to apply.

Applications are open for the Insurance Sector Student Fund from the 17th September to the 15th November 2024 and all application and supporting documents should be uploaded by then. Applications that are incomplete or that have incorrect/missing information will be disqualified.

Priority will be granted to courses in the insurance and related sectors.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: 

• Certified copy of a valid South African identity document (3 months)
• Certified copy of valid matric certificate (Grade 12).
• Certified copy of the latest academic transcript or record on official letterhead.
• Proof of Registration (where applicable)
• Recent certified copy of; parent’s; and guardian’s valid South African identity document. (N/A to self-supporting)
• Death Certificate/Affidavit
• Most recent (3) months bank statements/ Pay slips (both parents/guardian) alternatively
• SASSA letter/Affidavit of both parents/guardian if grant recipient.
• INSETA POPIA Form
• Confirm Declaration for Online Applications 
• INSETA Learner Agreement/ INSETA Worker Agreement
• Signed & Dated Letter of Employment (for employed)
