Gijima in collaboration with Microsoft is currently recruiting graduates for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Program 2024/2025 program. The program is designed to attract young multi-disciplined graduates with no or limited work experience.
This provides institutions and organisations the opportunity to groom the Artificial Intelligence (AI) graduate in training to fit into the culture of various industries.
Each cohort of 20 students will be hosted on the programme for 6 months. Cape Town
The learning entry level requirement should be applicable for access into these qualifications.
- Learning assumed to be in place: It is assumed that the learner is competent in skills gained at the further education and training band, with exposure to computing as a requirement. A learning assumption of this qualification is foundational skills in English.
- Further learning assumed is the ability to use a personal computer.
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, IT, Informatics and Engineering
- Statistics 1 and 2 and or Mathematics 1 or 2 in undergraduate studies
- Active interest in programming, AI and Data Science
- This is an employment equity opportunity
- Ages between 18-35
- South African Citizen
- Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record
- Candidates must currently be unemployed.
- Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program or be enrolled with any other tertiary institution.
