The Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF) is seeking a dedicated and motivated Supply Chain graduate with no prior work experience who is willing to learn how to provide administrative support to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) unit and other GPF business units.

This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain functions and work closely with professional.

Key Performance Areas

As the Supply Chain Intern, you will be responsible for:

  1. Sourcing suppliers from the Central Supplier Database.
  2. Compiling and evaluating price quotations.
  3. Conducting market research on products and services.
  4. Assisting in the preparation of procurement plans and quarterly reports.
  5. Supporting the management of tenders and participating in bid committee processes.
  6. Performing inventory management and monthly inventory reconciliations.
  7. Coordinating travel arrangements and handling monthly reconciliations.
  8. Assisting with contract management and expenditure trend analysis.
  9. Drafting various reports and managing compliance.
  10. Supporting Economic Development (ED) and BEE reporting.
  11. Engaging in teamwork, brainstorming, and mentoring activities.
  12. Performing additional SCM-related duties as required by the CEO, CFO, or Line Manager.

Job Requirements

Appointment Requirements

  • Educational Background: Minimum National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification at NQF level 6.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Competencies: Willingness to learn, proactive, and team oriented.
