Internships Available At eThekwini Municipality

EThekwini Municipality is now taking applications from qualifying candidates for their administration internship.

eThekwini Municipality has received grant funding for this internship programme: Work Integrated Learning (Inservice training) to qualifying individuals. Applications are invited from individuals with TVET N6 who require 18 months of work integrated learning.

The applicants will be evaluated as below:

· People who have already participated/benefited in Government or the private sector WIL Programme for a period of 12 months and above will not be considered.

· Applicants must be South African citizens and residing in the eThekwini Municipal Area of jurisdiction. · Applications must be submitted through the on-line application system accessed via www.durban.gov.za and click on Jobs where you will be ridrected to eRecruitment. Applicants are advised that fax, e-mails, manual and late applications will not be accepted.

· Due to the large number of applications envisaged only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Should you not hear from us within 3 months of the closing date, please accept that your application was unsuccessful.

· Employment Equity principles will be applicable in the recruitment process, to redress the imbalances in work experience placement experienced by designated groups, to ensure their equitable representation in all categories.
