You could be part of a government internship programme that is being run by the Department of Employment and Labour. They are recruiting 10,000 young people now to join this 2-year internship programme which pays more than R7,400 per month.

The Department of Employment and Labour is inviting qualifying applicants to apply for their internship programme which is running now in all provinces.

The internship programmes are meant to provide work exposure to graduates and undergraduates for the period of twenty (24) months and the applicants must be unemployed, and must be between the age of 18-35.

There are 10,000 different positions available in different departments and these internships pay at least R7,450 per month.

  • OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OHS) (X3,812 POSTS)
  • BASIC CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (BCEA) (X3,727 POSTS)
  • EMPLOYMENT EQUITY (EEA) (X513 POSTS)
  • EMPLOYER AUDIT SERVICE (EAS) (X1,948 POSTS)
