The City of Tshwane is currently recruiting for 50 Administrative Officer positions within the Administrative Bureau Section. If you're passionate about public service and have strong administrative skills, this is your opportunity to join a dynamic and essential team.

Salary Scale: R242,640 – R337,008 per annum
Estimated Total Package: R340,769 – R460,882 per annum
Job Purpose
The successful candidates will perform effective and efficient administrative support functions within the Administrative Bureau Section. This includes managing traffic fine processes, handling court-related documentation, and delivering general clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 (Matric certificate)
-
Relevant experience in an administrative environment
-
Computer literacy is essential
-
NaTIS user registration is an added advantage
-
Must have no criminal record (excluding political offences under the previous dispensation)
-
No pending disciplinary or criminal cases
-
Must be willing to undergo fingerprint verification at their own cost
-
Applicant’s name must not appear on the National Register for Sexual Offenders
-
Willingness to be placed or deployed anywhere within Tshwane, as required by the department

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Officers will be responsible for performing the following key functions:

Manage and support the execution of tasks in the Section 341, Section 54, and Section 56 offices
-
Handle processing of admissions of guilt, filing, preparing court rolls, and managing repayments
-
Capture and process AARTO (Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences) notices
-
Perform repayment processing and statement reconciliation
-
Conduct daily operations such as enquiries, cashier duties, statutory admin, and archiving
-
Carry out general clerical and administrative support as required by the department
