Cecil Renaud Scholarship 2021

The Cecil Renaud scholarship is awarded to the best and brightest young South Africans. The scholarship gives South Africans the opportunity to study at universities across the UK in a number of fields.

Cecil Renaud Scholarship 2021

The scholarship is open to postgraduate students who have completed or are currently studying towards an Honours degree; or a four year undergraduate degree.

Applicants must have completed a major part of their secondary schooling in KwaZulu-Natal, and be under the age of 27 at the time of applying for the scholarship.

Candidate Requirements: 

  • Excellent academic record - undergraduate or Honours degree(s) cum laude or summa cum laude; and additionally, Dean’s Commendations and Certificates of Merit or equivalent.
  • Studying at a South African university
  • Attended secondary school in KZN
  • Be under the age of 27 when applying for this school
  • Display qualities of leadership, focus, stamina and leadership
