Here is what the fees structure at Western TVET College is like: 

There are no application or registration fees required when applying at Westcol. The cost of textbooks and exam entry fees are usually included in the course fees.

All payments must be deposited directly into the college’s bank account as it operates a cash-free system.

Pre-Vocational Learning Programme (PLP)

The Pre-Vocational Learning Programme costs R6,208 per programme, or R1,552 per subject. Payment can be made in four equal instalments of R1,552. Please note that this be subject to change. 

National Certificate (Vocational) Programmes

Fees for NC(V) programmes depend on the field of study:

  • Engineering-Related Design: The cash price is R21,626. Payment can be split into eight instalments of R2,450.
  • Hospitality: The cash price is R20,584, with payment options of eight instalments of R2,290.
  • Office Administration: The cash price is R10,886, or eight instalments of R1,200.
  • Tourism: The cash price is R15,850, payable in eight instalments of R1,770.

Report 191 Programmes (NATED)

For Report 191 (NATED) courses, fees depend on the level and number of subjects:

  • Introductory Certificate in Food Service: Cash price is R7,450, with options to pay 50% upfront and the rest in two instalments.
  • Tourism (N4-N6): Fees range from R7,260 to R8,086, depending on the level and subjects. Payment can be split into a 50% deposit and two instalments.

The college reserves the right to cancel or relocate programmes based on student numbers.

Payment plans are available for most programmes, making it easier to manage costs. An option students should explore is NSFAS, as it provides a bursary which covers more than just your fees.
