If you have been considering pursuing your tertiary studies at Northlink College for the next academic year, you will be pleased to know that their Trimester 3 applications are now open. 

The college offers a variety of courses in a variety of fields including business studies, engineering, hospitality, information technology and education. Short courses and learnerships also form part of their course offerings specifically tailored for students who want to gain specific skills within a shorter time span.

Northlink College Courses Available

Northlink College will consider applications for the following courses:

  • Electrical Engineering (light current) N3-N6
  • Electrical Engineering (heavy current) N3-N6
  • Mechanical Engineering N3-N6
  • Civil and Construction Engineering N3-N6

Engineering courses are offered at the following campuses: 

  • Goodwood
  • Belhar
  • Wingfield

Admission Requirements

Prior to submitting your application you must meet the admission requirements, which tend to differ depending on your preferred course of study. This applies to both local and  international students with each specified entry requirement.

For the above mentioned programmes, students are required to meet the following requirements:

  • N3
    • Grade 11 Maths/Technical Maths and science
  • N4
    • Grade 12 Maths/Technical Maths and Science

How To Apply At Northlink College

  1. Visit the Northlink College website
  2. Click ‘Apply’ to take you to the screen below
  3. Click whether you are a new student or returning student
  4. Accept the POPIA Clause
  5. Follow the prompts and fill in ALL the necessary information
  6. Upload ALL the supporting documents
  7. You’re Done!

Once your application is submitted, you will then have to wait until your application has been processed and verified before being able to track it on the college’s official website. This will be confirmed when your application is acknowledged through an SMS and email.

Applicants are also encouraged to apply for NSFAS student funding as this can go a long way in helping for their studies, provided that they qualify. NSFAS Trimester 3 applications will open 2 September.

Applications close on 20 August.
