If you have been considering pursuing your tertiary studies at Northlink College for the next academic year, you will be pleased to know that their applications are now open

The college offers a variety of courses in a variety of fields including business studies, engineering, hospitality, information technology and education. Short courses and learnerships also form part of their course offerings specifically tailored for students who want to gain specific skills within a shorter time span.

Northlink is now taking applications for Semester 2, Trimester 2 as well as Online Learning courses.

Northlink College is considered one of the largest in the Western Cape with campuses that include:

  • Belhar Campus
  • Bellville Campus
  • Goodwood Campus
  • Parow Campus
  • Protea Campus
  • Tygerberg Campus
  • Wingfield Campus

Admission Requirements

Prior to submitting your application you must meet the admission requirements, which tend to differ depending on your preferred course of study. This applies to both local and  international students with each specified entry requirement.

For pre-matric programmes students are required to have a grade 9 certificate to gain admission. For post-matric programmes, applicants must have either passed Grade 12/N3 or any NQF Level 4 to qualify for admission at the college. 

Your June or September school results are considered ideal for submitting your application as this comes with the advantage of an early application at Northlink College. Once all the requirements are covered, you can then submit your application.  

How To Apply At Northlink College

  1. Visit the Northlink College website
  2. Click ‘Apply’ to take you to the screen below
  3. Click whether you are a new student or returning student
  4. Accept the POPIA Clause
  5. Follow the prompts and fill in ALL the necessary information
  6. Upload ALL the supporting documents
  7. You’re Done!

Once your application is submitted, you will then have to wait until your application has been processed and verified before being able to track it on the college’s official website. This will be confirmed when your application is acknowledged through an SMS and email.

Applicants are also encouraged to apply for NSFAS student funding as this can go a long way in helping for their studies, provided that they qualify.   

Applications close on 30 April 2024.
