2025 applications are now open at Orbit TVET College. Orbit TVET College wants to provide high-quality education and training that is affordable and relevant.

You can now apply to study at Orbit TVET College for the 2025 academic year. Orbit TVET College is one of the TVET Colleges in North West. 

Applications are now open for Trimester 2 Studies and will close on 12 May.

Orbit College

Orbit TVET College offers a variety of courses at their three campuses. They provide their students with support services such as academic development, social and cultural services, job placements and counselling at all campuses.

Will Nsfas Pay For Orbit TVET College Courses?

YesNSFAS does fund certain courses offered at Orbit TVET college, because they are one of the 50 accredited public TVET colleges in South Africa. 

According to the bursary scheme, almost 95% of students enrolled for TVET colleges courses are funded by NSFAS and students who have a grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 certificate can apply to study at a TVET College.

How To Apply

Before applying, applicants must go through career guidance and apply for a NSFAS bursary.

Then to apply, follow these TVET college online application steps:

  1. Do career guidance
  2. Take a placement assessment
  3. Go to i-Enabler to start application
  4. Create a profile if you are a new user
  5. Complete the application form
  6. Apply for NSFAS

Once your application has been completed, you will receive an SMS indicating that you have to submit the following documents:

All Applicants

  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copy of your latest results

If you are dependent on your parents/guardian/spouse

  • Certified ID copies of your parents(s), guardian, spouse

If you have a disability

Foreign students

  • Certified copies of passport
  • SAQA approved foreign qualification
  • Valid study permit
  • Proof of medical insurance or cover

Submit these documents to the campus where you applied by email.

Prospective students will also have to write a placement test and will have to contact the campus they wish to study at to book at a time and date to write. You should bring a certified copy of your ID and a certified copy of your highest grade passed along with a calculator and a pen. 

Results will be made available immediately after doing the test. These results then need to be emailed to the relevant campus.
