Ikhala Public TVET College (Ikhala College) was formed on the 1st April 2002 through the merging of a number of previous Technical Colleges. It is situated in the beautiful town of Komani in the Eastern Cape. There mission is to provide quality and community responsive programmes through consolidating strategic stakeholder relations and ensuring business excellence.
They offer programmes in:
- Electrical Engineering N1-N6
- Civil Engineering Carpentry N1-N6
- Civil Engineering Bricklaying N2
- Mechanical Engineering N4
- Water and Water Waste Treatment N1-N3

Before applying, make sure you have an active gmail email address, as it is a requirement for the application.
Make sure you have all the supporting documents needed before continuing with the application, such as, a certified copy of your ID, proof of residence, certified copy of latest results, etc.
The minimum requirement are:
- A year end school report for Grade 9 or higher, or
- An NQF Level 1 qualification (ABET Level 4) or
- A recognition of RPL assessment to meet the basic requirement for access to NQF Level 2
