How Do I Write An Application Letter As A Teacher With No Experience?

You've already completed your teaching qualification and now it is time for you to work on your CV and cover letter and get the job application process started. Here are a few tips on how to write a cover letter with absolutely no experience.

Step 1

At the very top of your cover letter, list your first and last name and all your contact information. Remember to include relevant up-to-date contact information such as your email and mobile number. This is how possible recruiters will get hold of you.

Step 2

After your contact information, include the date you plan on sending your cover letter to recruiters as well as the recruiters information if you know this. Include the first name, last name and contact information for the recipient of your cover letter.

Step 4

Although you don't have any teaching experience at this point, make sure to include information regarding your training and qualifications, work integrated learning or internship experience and any achievements you've made that demonstrate your teaching abilities. If you have done any volunteering, be sure to include this as well.

Step 5

Some teaching positions require you to have certain training or certifications as part of the job requirements. Mention any that you have and show how they relate to the requirements of the job you are applying for. Be as comprehensive as possible.
