City Power Johannesburg (SOC) Limited as a progressive company committed to the skills and development initiatives of the country and striving for the social and economic development of the region, invites Applicants to apply for a bursary.
CITY POWER will fund the following qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering (Heavy/Light Current)
- Risk management
- Environmental Health Management
- Information Technology
- Bursaries shall be awarded to deserving and qualifying candidates from within the City of Johannesburg service area.
- There shall be a gender ratio of 70% female to 30% male.
- Grade 12 learners with a minimum symbol of C (60%) who meet the admission criteria as set by the educational institution.
- Undergraduate students at Universities or Universities of Technology or TVET Colleges with excellent academic performance with a minimum average percentage mark of 60%.
- Preferably from universities or TVET colleges situated in Gauteng although this is not a requirement.
- You must be a South African Citizen.
The following documents must accompany your application form:
- An application form which is obtainable from the City Power Career website;
- Certified copy of academic transcript (only if you are currently an undergraduate university student);
- Certified copy of Matric certificate (Grade 12);
- Certified copy of South African Identity Document:
- Proof of acceptance at a tertiary study institution (only if you are currently an undergraduate university student).
