Trudon (formerly known as Telkom Directory Services, TDS), a South African company that delivers the best local commercial search in South Africa and affordable, effective advertising and marketing options to the local Small Medium & Micro Enterprises (SMME) and corporate market, has opened applications for the 2013 intake of the Trudon Bursary. The application deadline is 14 November 2012.

The Sasol Bursary Scheme boasts an all-inclusive package recognised in South Africa for being highly competitive and aims to attract exceptional young talent to the organisation. Bursaries awarded are for full time university studies in engineering, science and commerce disciplines. At a time of year when applications to a lot of bursary opportunities have already closed, the Islam Development Bank (IDB) Education Trust is still offering loan bursaries for first year Muslim South African students studying at South African universities in 2013.

Argility, developer of software solutions engineered to empower businesses to deliver exceptional services to their customers, consistently, is offering a bursary in 2013 to 2nd and final year Computer Science and related subjects, students.

The Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) announces, via its Endowment for the National Arts, the SAMRO Music Bursaries for 2013. These Bursaries are the most substantial awards in music study in Southern Africa and are open to citizens of South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland. Applicants should be registered for a music degree / diploma at a South African University in 2013. Applications will only be accepted once students have proof of registration for 2013.

The City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality, the metropolitan municipality that forms the local government of northern Gauteng Province, has a full-time bursary scheme for non-employees / zstudents studying on a full-time basis at any institutions registered with SAQA.
