The Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) is a Support and Funding model for financially needy students that fall under the categories of "poor" and "missing middle" students.

If you are concerned that you'll struggle to take care of your own accommodation fees, no worries, the ISFAP bursary covers student accommodation fees as well.

ISFAP was created in 2016 to assist students that require funding to be successful in a tertiary institution and that are too rich to be funded by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

Like NSFAS, ISFAP covers tuition fees and accommodation fees, amongst many other things

The ISFAP bursary also assists students in other financial sectors, like the following:

  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation
  • Food
  • Learning materials (calculator, textbooks, learning material);
  • Living allowance/pocket money
  • Non-academic student support (project manager; tutorial support; life support; admin support; life skills training; staff mentors).

So if you are funded by ISFAP, you don't have to worry about any of the above expenses, ISFAP has got you covered

Visit the ISFAP website for more information on the ISFAP bursary
