Do You Need To Write A Trade Test?

Artisan Image

The trade test is the last stage in the journey to becoming a fully qualified artisan. Whether you are training to become a plumber, electrician or mechanic you will need to write this formal test in order to receive national recognition in your field.

Trade tests are written in demarcated testing centres around the country.

In order to apply to write your trade test you will need to contact the relevant SETA

If you are uncertain as to which SETA you need to contact, you can approach the National Artisan Moderating Body (NAMB) for more information or click link to find a trade testing centre near you
