Students at set to begin receiving allowance payments from NSFAS soon. How they will receive their NSFAS allowance payments has been revealed by NSFAS.

NSFAS currently funds more than one million students in tertiary education in South Africa. This number is set to grow as the financial aid scheme has officially opened 2024 NSFAS applications.

NSFAS provides fully subsidised free higher education and training for poor and working class South Africans through bursaries. NSFAS funding is available to TVET College students as well so what's the criteria for TVET students to be funded?

In order to remain funded by NSFAS, students pursuing their studies at TVET colleges must meet certain academic requirements. Here are more details on this. 

Post #FeesMustFall, the funding criteria for NSFAS changed. Returning students who are interested in continuing studies are welcomed to apply. However, they need to be on the lookout for a few things which will come in handy before applying for funding.
